I took my AT44 out and was practicing 100 yard shots on cans. After a couple of clips it got real boring so decided to stretch it to 150 yards. I was shooting 2 litre bottles and after about 5 ranging shots, I started hitting the bottles pretty consistently too. This gun is really dialed in now....

Nice.
What kind of pellets were you shooting?
-
Right now I use JSB 18.13 Jumbo Heavy and the regulator is set at 895 fps average.
-
150 yard shooting is more than impressive with a .22

I normally use my 25 cal when I get this far. But hitting 12 cans were so easy at 100 yards , I just decided to give it a try. There was no wind so I was able to hold the cross hairs directly over target ( 8 mil dots at 12X) and the pellets just dropped right on the bottle. I was hitting about 7 out of 10 tries so it wasn't luck, the gun is just accurate.

lol Yeah! Just like I have always said...A little Hatsan tune and your having fun ;D

Wow, Dont get why my AT44 is so terrible inaccurate?
What you did to your gun? you adjusted power?
hard to think that AT44 ONLY takes JSB pellets, I can't find this particular pellets from local shops now, I shoot over ten models different pellets none of them are helping me.

My gun was always accurate, it was just too powerful shooting the JSB 18 gr pellets. I wanted to use these because I can get 4000 pellets for about $50. The regulator helped get the speed exactly where I wanted it. I did get the valves modified and got Baxter to do a barrel crown for me. I did not do any before and after accuracy tests, so don't know exactly how much accuracy improved, I wanted the crown done to make sure I was getting the most accuracy I could out of the gun.

Wow! 4000 pellets for 50$, if you mind telling me where do you buy them?

LOL Misprint, I meant 4 tins 2000 is the correct number. And I either get the buy 4 with 1 free from PA or the buy 5 and pay for 4 from AGD. either deal beats the 200 count tins of other pellets.

The 21 gr H&N dome pellets seem to shoot just as well in my gun. I shoot the JSBs because they're less costly and very accurate.

Long range airgunning is a blast. Unfortunately, 109 yds is about as far of a range as I can manage right now. I'd love to find somewhere I could shoot out to 200 yds. We've got several Steel Plinkers resettable & quad targets set up at various yardages, starting at 80 yds on up to 109 yds.

what kind of scope do you have with 8 mil dots for holdover? or did you some how zero it 3 mil dots up from horizontal crosshair? sorry post was for black diesel

It's an UTG 6-24x50, but I dropped the magnification to 12x which made the 4th mil dot equal to 8 mil dots.
