Title: Hawke Airmax 30 SF opinions?
Post by: grauhanen on May 29, 2015, 10:23:11 PM
Anyone with experience with the Hawke Airmax 30 SF 6-24x50 or 8-32x50 scopes?  What do you like or dislike about them?  Opinions?
Thanks.

You might be thinking of the Airmax EV model, which is not the same as the Airmax 30 SF.  See http://www.hawkeoptics.com/airmax-30-sf-riflescopes.html (http://www.hawkeoptics.com/airmax-30-sf-riflescopes.html)

No opinions at all?  I guess I will have the opportunity to form my own as I have ordered one.

I ordered one of the 4-16's and have it on my Prosport....I like it! Mine seems to snap into focus very well, very clear overall. Have had no issues thus far and about 1000 shot cycles on it. Hawke is changing their entire line, several new options.

I see they have changed their entire line. Wish Leapers would follow suit and change the UI of the site.

im thinking about purchasing one of these scopes

I tried out the scope yesterday.  It has very bright and clear glass through its magnification range.  The parallax adjustment is excellent.  The illuminated AMX reticle is crisp and fine, and a treat to use.  I'm impressed and very pleased.

I just ordered an Airmax 30 SF 3-12x. I got the lowest magnification because I will use it on my Daystate Huntsman Regal .22 for hunting. The price was $349 shipped on eBay. There is only one left if someone is interested. I sure hope it's a good scope.
