Should have the gun later today cant wait. Building myself a tool kit which is already 90% complete. I just need one thing. Can anyone tell me what size thread the valve has on it so i know what size to drill and tap on the one end of my tool for pulling the valve after the nut is taken off. I already have the square end done. May help if somone that has the tool could look.

alright took a while but i found it after many internet searches. Looks like its a 1/4-28 thread in case anyone else needs to know.

From measurements taken, I believe the valve body thread is an odd size of 9/32-32. Taps are available from Victor Machinery (victornet.com)

ok thanks i will try both

Do you have the tool? Can you measure its width so i can confirm its size? Or anyone else? Just checked my model shop at work. We dont have anything in 9/32-32. No nuts, bolts, rod,or taps.

Cheaper to buy the tool than buy the required 9/32 - 32 tap

I measured the threads on the valve body. Not sure what the width of the tool will tell you but it is .380". The diameter of the threaded hole is .245" - .248".
The tap is $9.50 plus shipping from Victor Machinery.

Victor Machinery minimum order is $25, maybe they have something else you need to reach that figure.
