Title: Questions about exporting optics

If anyone here has the answer to this question, Id really like to know it.
Is it legal to purchase a scope on-line that will be shipped to a courier company in the U.S., & have that scope shipped out of the U.S. to a private citizen in another country?

I don't have the answer, recommend "Don't do it" unless you contact the government agencies and complete all the Customs forms, licenses, etc.  O, and don't forget the receiving country's red tape, probably similar to ours!

If it's illegal for a vendor to sell and ship to a person in that country, then it woild be illegal for anyone to ship there.
