shooting a highly mod disco with a cothran valve with a 6 inch plem , reg set@ 2000psi and fill@3000psi with 2 13ci tanks, .180 tport and 4 .125 ports in barrel spaced@ 12,3,6,9 with a ring grove ground in to connect all 4. while shooting today my power was dropping fast each shot! still had 2800 in tanks!. tried every adj to get it back,Nothing! . Tore it down and found my plem tube had closed itself shut right down the center, both end were still perfect, This was not caused by reg pushing on it but by the difference in psi in main tube and the sharp drop in psi inside plem tube, hydro formed it shut! guess I machined it to good!. made new tube and put vent holes all over it to keep psi equal. Never seen or heard of this before, Has anyone else? IF so let me know if venting the plem tube will stop this LORRAINE

Never heard of this happening but I can see how it could happen and how big of a problem it would creat.
Do you have any pictures of the plenum you replaced?
Side note: You are located very near to me, I would love to check this rifle out some time!

cothran valves are the nuts, spits out 18gn jsbs@1085fps with a 23 gram delrin hammer and a 2260 co2 super light spring set at no preload, if I start to add preload the pellets go sonic! I can push 25gn jsbs to sonic with just 1 1/2 turns in from a spring that is at rest. I should have built this as a 35 cal instead of a 22cal. And yes silver lake is just over a few hills from us, Drank alot of wobbly pop on that lake but for some reason never caught any fish HE HE! Lorraine
That's impressive. We will have to catch up and compare Disco's some time!
I sent you a PM sir. 8)
