Title: crosman 2240 safety

i just found my old 2240 22cal pistol think i bought it around 17 years ago but just noticed that the safety is backwards does anyone else have this problem with there old 2240.

Never a problem with my 2240 - The safety works fine and the trigger is a dream.  However my gun is practically new.
WELL SOMEONE HAD TO SAY SOMETHING!

mine is great shape to and the safety works but it is backwards it says push for safe and the red is dead shows and it shoots push it on other side that says push for fire and it is on safe it is backwards.and i wanted to get a 14 inch barrel for it and to my surprise crosman says they don't sell custom shop parts individually so where is every one getting there longer barrels from.

We are buying 24" barrels then cutting and re-crowning them. Folks like Timmy at MAC1 sells them cut and crowned.

thanks for the info so any of those 22cal barrels will work on my 2240 with the stock plastic breach i'm not looking to modify anything but the barrel length.

Yes, any of those will work.
