members recently I got a great deal on a Hammerli pneuma elite 10 and 22 caliber now here's my problem. return I have no idea about PCP's let alone my pneuma! Now what am I to do about simple barrel cleaning? How can i alleviate the very long 1st stage and/or the horrible trigger pull length, weight? Is there such a thing as "decocking" it? I would like for me to know/learn about her but dont see too much info on her. She uses a lot of air and its only a .22cal. And what pellets have you owners had luck in using? Also when i begin to chrony her, what do i or should i look for? I fill her up to 200bar, so when should i fill her up again and how will i know when to do so? What do i look for when chronying too. How can i take her apart or should i or shouldn't take her apart? When i say im new to this, it is literally NEW, lol
Any and all info, opinion and experience would be greatly appreciated.

The pneuma elite 10 is almost the same rifle as the AT44-10 and there is a lot of info out there, for your trigger problem I think that without disassembling the only thing you can do is adjust the trigger with the included allen keys.
The pneuma is a little bit older than the newer models of the AT44 that is why the trigger is not so good in the pneuma the new at44s can have it adjusted at albs without creep and very smooth. If you decide to disassemble polish the trigger components and remove the second stage spring for another one smother.
As for efficiency yes they are airhogs out of the box mainly because of the 6 ports the valve has and the small 180cc reservoir, to fix this you can plug 3 or 5 of the ports of the valve and the one/s remaining should be facing to the transfer port. When you plug the holes the velocity will drop a bit, to adjust the velocity check this post http://www.gatewaytoairguns.org/GTA/index.php?topic=33903.20 (http://www.gatewaytoairguns.org/GTA/index.php?topic=33903.20) I recommend adjusting the velocity to 890 fps or so with 18.13 JSBs, this should give you around 30 shots from 190bar to 120bar at 96% or 94% if you want more shots tune the rifle to 900fps with 15.9 JSBs.
Both of these tunes are very accurate. (for this mods you will need to disassemble the gun)
A recrown would increase accuracy especially if the crown locks bad and adding a LDC would reduce sound a lot.
Here is a Mexican forum that talks about tuning a pneuma you could use google translate or give you an idea of what he is talking about with the images http://www.enlamira.com.mx/foros/rifles-y-pistolas-de-aire-35/hammerli-pneuma-destripado-mono-tiro-177-a-112993/?
