Hello GTA friends. I'm not going to bore you with a complete detailing of my last month, only to tell you that I am on my way too hopefully a full recovery. I had a large non-cancerous brain tumor removed and during that struggle had multiple seizures that resulted in me tearing both my shoulders. My right right shoulder is making very good progress, but my left shoulder will require several months of rehab.
I'm thankful to be alive and have a new perspective on life. I hope to be back to contributing to the airgun community more and more over the next few weeks. I am scheduled to be released from in-patient rehab next Tuesday and will then start the out-patient rehab from home portion of my recovery. As a result of all this, I will be moving to the PCP darkside full force :o Well folks, time for 6 hours of physical therapy.
Please do this one thing. If something doesn't feel right, get to the doctor and get it checked out. My procrastination about cost me my life.

Dang SCIGUY, you should have told us that you were ill. Take it easy and keep us informed from now on. Otherwise, We might have assumed you went to a brand X forum. Never to return.

Wow Mike, sorry to hear, but glad you're recovering well! Always seems a bit scary when one of us disappears for a bit. Guess it makes a perfect excuse to the Mrs. for some necessary rehab equipment, PCP arm weights and a state of the art re-ventilation supply unit! ;)
Glad you're back!

Just wanted to let yall know that I'm home and continuing my recovery. I actually start my outpatient rehab on my right shoulder today and still have 2 weeks before I'm allowed to even move my left shoulder. Thanks again for all your thoughts.
Now you can follow me over in the darkside gate as I decide how to move into the world of CO2/PCP

Mike, I don't know how I missed your thread but I see it now. We've had a very tumultuous health month here at the ez household too. But I want to extend my thoughts and prayers for your speedy and full recovery. And I echo your message to EVERYONE about the doctor visits, annual checkups and taking care of yourselves!!!! I'll also keep you in my prayers as you venture to The Dark Side. Just send me your wallet and credit cards, I'll guard them for ya. ;D
Take care and good luck with physical therapy. GOOD to see you back with us too!!!!
