Out with the Pro Sport for an hour today.
Just sending some down range...too windy for any serious stuff.
Put some apple slices on the 30 yard target board and got as lucky as I could've gotten!!
Sent one this guy's way. He fell down between the target and the backing.
Got up to take a look and saw this!!
Wish I could say I was trying to shoot his wings off!!!
-
Not bad.
-
What kind of bug was it...a flying stinger? Great shot!
-
one minute it's enjoying apple slices, next minute it doesn't exist.
also, I'm no longer grobe1458. I wish to be called "he who hits what cannot be seen" ;D
granted first hit lucky calculation, the ones afterwards, not so much.

That was not a humane kill. Head shots only please. ;D
Great shot Joe!
-
You only winged him.

Thanks Jerry!! Next time I'll try to keep my eye open!!!
You only winged him.
But is it a 10x??
-
Joe's getting sadistic ..... he's going for the private parts next!
BTW ... with Joe on the butt end ..... that wasn't luck.

Come on Joe! We all knew you could make that shot, but can you neuter one??
-
Reminds me of Henry Ford and Jimmy Stewart in the tub ;D
OK --- try this next, 100 yards, 3 spins with a blindfold, listen for the beat of the wings ... those gnats don't stand a chance ;)
Nice Nice Nice

I was expecting to see only 1 wing shot off.

I was expecting to see only 1 wing shot off.
Joe is humane ... if he did that .. it could only fly in a circle!

What! matches weren't good enough for you. Are you sure it wasn't a handicapped fly to begin with.

Interesting indeed. I have shot wasps and such at 20 yards before. But I was actually aiming for them.
