Title: Weihrauch HW 40 pin
Post by: Alanheal on March 30, 2015, 04:08:13 PM
I have a new Weihrauch HW 40 pistol in which the pin supporting the "hammer" keeps working its way out. I noticed that only one side of it has the rounded edge that all the pins have. The other side is flat and doesn't extend to the edge.  All the other pins on the gun have the convex or rounded shape on both sides.  If I can get another pin, how are those pins inserted? The edges appear wider than the shaft.

Thanks

How often does it work its way out? Mine does the same thing after about 75 shots or so. I wonder if this a common problem. I just push it back in

Fascinating, that there should be two like that.  Yes, every  50-75 shots. It's probably because the other side of the pin is missing an end piece.  For that price it shouldn't have that issue. Tapping the pin back in repeatedly could knock something loose in the trigger.  I'm not clear how those pins are installed, since the outer edge appears wider than the hole.
