Title: Sacramento (Ione) Field Target 3-15-2015

The first match of the year was held yesterday.
Scott, Jim and Rick had some spare time this past winter and decided to paint the targets a bit different than last year.
IMHO they may have stumbled across a bad mushroom or three before they painted.

As opposed to what ??? .... basic featureless BLACK.

Black is Easy ... feature full is Harder.
BTW, brownies and they WERE Great !!

That first rabbit looks like the victim of a shotgun blast :)

I do like the detail....I wonder if it will make it easier or more difficult for your eyes to hold on the correct sight picture...

After 2 matches thus far ... general consensus is more positive simply because we have MORE "Hunter" class guys and patterns are easier to range find on.  The open class guys with telescope optics get a slapping that hits are Very hard to see.  We simply dared to be different ... this is a good thing !

End of day been a great equalizer between the classes.
Plus there just a Great Giggle to view while shooting  ;D
