Title: Little Video shooting the BullDog .357
Post by: Nomadic Pirate on March 22, 2015, 09:33:44 PM
Since Wednesday I'm gonna take the Dog for a hunt I was getting a little trigger time today.

Also, I'll be hunting my Tree blind and try get the hunt on film, therefore I wanted to re acquaint myself with the camera and that led to the making of this little fun video  ;D

Nice video Manny.
The bulldog does not sound that loud in the video

No it doesn't sound that loud at all. The residual ping/twaaaaaang though is a wee bit disconcerting.

The gun definitely seem to have gotten more quiet with time.

Yeah I did a quickie in PS of your pic on the grass and shortened the Bull down to the air tube and changed the rec from black to a dark blued color. Looks not bad but when I downsized it for the forum it comes out looking like it was shot behind a shower curtain.
I still think simple colour changes would make a humongous diff in the appearance on that beast.
Any graphic designers out there?

Ok just a quickie with short front and a gun blue band over the top just to break up the lines. I think a lighter colour like a dark grey up top would make the weapon appear lighter all round. A Grip and Butt pad change would do wonders as well. Just colour again not the actual parts

Agree, if this gun was mine it would get a rubberised coat on the stock and than some kind of a paint job :)

If Crosman was on the ball here they'd offer that as an option from the custom shop.

I have a feeling that the Dog might evolve a bit down the line, a Depinger is the 1st thing Crosman should install right now.

Yes. You're vid had some great banjo music courtesy of the Bull.

I definitely agree that Crosman will do some work on this. It could be the next gen Marauder type platform with mechanical and cosmetic variants galore. One thing Crosman is extremely good at is leveraging the heck out of any given platform.

I don't think they should go back to the Marauder, the lever action is sweet, the mag is much better, the air chamber is bigger and there's power into the action,

They can detune it for small bores, but I believe they should redo the stock, but than again that would most likely make the gun more expensive too.

Gun really knocks the fire out of the cans.
Gun looks good on few vids I seen and on PA's website, but not a gun I would buy right now.
And this was the 1st pcp that I wanted to buy, but after looking at price of bullets I talked myself out of it.
Nice vid thx for posting.

Those cans took a pounding. Impressive. You were shooting pellets?

Nice video Manny, pretty quiet other than the ping and twang of it. If they had offered it with a stock like the Marauder, I would have purchased it. It's just to tactical for my liking.
