I managed to get some of my powder burners out to the range today and brought along my .22 HW35e. I was only on the pistol range so range was around 50 feet.
Now understand that groups that tickle me, especially with spring air guns are nothing to some of you but I have been breaking in this 35 and finally seem to be getting some decent groupings. My normal indoor shooting is 20' to say 30 feet depending on my "lane" I use. So an extra 20-30 feet was nice. Will give her a go at 25-30 yards next time.
Anyway here is my best group of the day that I was tickled pink with. Yes its only 4 shots because after number four I honestly didn't have the courage to take number five and jack up such a nice group but at least I am honest. :D
I have been bringing spring guns more then .22s as of late. Very challenging shooting. Very fun. They all get lots of interest from the other folks on the range.

My other groups were mostly "poop" but at least within the center ring of the shoot and see with an occasional flyer in the outer ring. I had to adjust for the irons as she is still shooting a tad high even with my elevation cranked down.

That's a nice looking rear sight on your HW35e. What make is it?

Airforce ts1. I have them on three rifles and like them fairly well.

Your 35E looks just like mine! Nice dark walnut.
I found mine to be pretty bouncy and boingy right out of the box so I installed a tune kit from Vortek. It settled down remarkably and no longer tried to walk my Kimber 82G diopter off the back of the receiver. Now it provides a nice solid thump.
If you're shooting from a rest, try setting the front bag just ahead of the trigger guard.
They are beautiful, though, aren't they?! Have fun.

Nice looking rifle/stock. Did you get your rifle back together that you dismantled? I may have missed any updates to that thread.
