I was VERY unhappy to have missed last years shoot. I whole heartedly started making my plans for this years. I put vacation on the calendar at work and got the wife to get hers too. Searched for a hotel room and got the vehicle in shape. I STILL plan on making the 8-9 hour trip this year but May is turning out to be a VERY busy month. And unexpected health issues MAY put a damper on ANY thought of a vacation. Will just have to wait and see. But I tell ya, I'm gonna be VERY upset if I have to miss this great event AGAIN. :-[
Happy Shooting!!!!

I'll put it on my calendar! I've been invited to SC for some hog hunting at an old plantation. Sounds like that I may get in a two for one trip! Maybe we could roast a hog! :D

As anybody that has been to our Fun Shoots at Gene's, you are assured of a good time and are exposed to and experience shooting a lot of different guns. ;D ;D It is just that... a Fun Shoot with fun for every one. Looking forward to seeing a bunch of you guys (and gals) there. ;) Usually we have some give-a-way drawings donated by Gene and myself and well as buying, selling and trading amoungst the gang. Something for everyone. 8) Ya'all come.

Roasting a hog???? Now there's a plan. Need to get it here a day early though. I believe that's an all night project. Maybe a two day project if we need to use Genes Bar-B Que grill. ;D ;D

Heh, nah just dig a hole over where we were parking, and have the pig roasting there the evening before, very slowly... low and slow is the perfect recipe for that!!!
