The snow is melting, so I hauled out my newly designed shooting table and the R11 in it's new furniture for a quick sight-in session (new scope...Bushy Elite 3200 5-15x50).
Not too disappointing, considering none of the stock bolts are lock-tighted yet and the ground's too frozen to put my wind flags up.
The center bull was the sight-in, after that it was 5-shot groups at 50yds with some tweaking of bolts and scope adjustments.
No where near to being ready for the 50-yard 1/2" group challenge, but it's a start.

Good Job Paul :D I was hoping to begin my 50 yard practice today, but my range is on a hill and the wind was just ridiculous today.

Thanks, guys.
After posting, I took the TX outside to check out the new JM kit. She may have changed her preferred pellet from 8.44's to 10.34's...had to give up too soon as the wind started kicking.
Man, I sure missed this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've seen the same thing after a tune Paul!!
Get some lead down the tube then check previous favorites again.
How does the TX feel with the kit in it??
-
The TX feels (and sounds) too "buzzy". I didn't do a great install...just took out the old and threw in the new back in January. I've got it all apart on the bench right now, and will do a proper clean/lube on her tomorrow night.
She definitely feels like she's got more power, though. Once I finish the lube-tune I'll run some strings on the Pro Chrono and compare them to where she was before. I didn't put in the stainless spacer (piston weight) that came with the kit...I'll try that after seeing what fps/fpe I'm at without it.

Glad to see you got some trigger time Paul! And it was a nice day out too by the looks of it. I can't wait to see what you can shoot when you get warmed up! I would be happy with your groups at 50 for myself. I guess I have my work cut out for me! ;)
