Title: Career Ultra 55 yard group
Post by: blackdiesel on March 09, 2015, 10:42:49 PM
Took my Ultra out yesterday and did a 3 shot group to test the zero of my scope at 55 yards.  I used the .360 round balls from Ballistic Products.  I am getting the hang of shooting this gun, it's starting to feel like a small bore.  I'm not much of a paper puncher except to sight in or test my zero.  After this I set up plastic bottles at 88 yard and 106 yards and it was automatic.  The reason for the odd distances is that I have objects I set my bottles onto ranged at these distances.

It's a great gun.  The RBs are my plinking rounds and I'm almost out.  I still haven't heard from anyone else about recent results with the Ballistic Products balls.  I guess I will have to just buy some more and hope that the 2 bottles you got were not the new norm.  I'm going to try and cast a new batch of EPPs soon.  Been working a whole lot and only have a couple of hours on Saturdays for shooting and such.

Cedric I actually did a few more groups and they were similar.  But they're on a target I sighted in another gun on and since I didn't want to keep walking down range I had groups scattered all over that target.  Anyone lloking at that target would just see a lot of holes, but at the time I was watching impact points so I knew which holes were associated with which group.

That is a great rifle. I am glad she is seeing plenty of use and that she is treating you so well.

Thanks for selling it to me.  I just need a good LDC to lower the noise so Ican shoot it at home.
