Thinking about buying a Weihrauch HW95L in the next couple months. There's apparently only two places that have it.One place seems to draw a lot of customer service/communication based complaints. The other place I know very little about, other than they want roughly $40 more for the same gun.
Secondly, has anyone here ever received a factory defect HW95? One that had issues from the factory? I'm just trying to avoid any new headaches if I can.

I have had no problem with AOA.
-
Thanks Nytebyte, one vote for AOA then.

I've had only one reason to contact AOA, I left a phone # + message and they called me back in about an hour. The gentleman spent about 15 minutes answering questions. From there the transaction came off without a hitch. Most of the complaints seem to be about their pricing on one brand of rifle for which they are the 'exclusive' distributor in the US. If the price is right on the gun you want, my advise is they are A-OK. YMMV

Thanks PB,two votes for AOA then.

The R9 is equal to the HW95 Luxus. The stock is a little nicer with the design on the front. Buy the R9 from PA during a promotion or when the coupon code is available and the price is about the same or a little less than the standard 95 from AoA.

Precision airguns and supplies in michigan. Jim stanis is excellent to deal with

I've never seen the R9 not excluded from PA sales or coupon codes but I could definitely be wrong.

Beeman R9 (rebranded HW95) is also available at Straight Shooters.

2 for aoa 1 for precision. I do not care for the R9,I will be getting an HW95L so I can have the nice iron sights. I do appreciate the input however, thanks guys. :)

Never had a moments trouble with AoA. I have order two rifles from them in the past 3-6 weeks as well as plenty in the past. Always great. Straightshooters & PA are great to.
-
+1 for Precision Airguns. I bought my new to me TX from them. Very pleasant folks to deal with. PA is great, too. No issues at all. I have purchased a couple Co2 pistols from AOA. Both of them were flawless, so no need to ask for help.

Let's see ,that's 4 for AOA and 3 for Precision. I buy my pellets from Straightshooters,if they had the HW95L I would be buying from them. :)
So no one has bought an HW95 lemon?
-
Another vote for Precision.......Jim and Nancy are great!!
Lemon???
The worst I've seen was a 95 in 22 cal that really buzzed and twanged badly.
$80 Vortek kit and she's a beauty!!
-
Thanks PaloneJ, it's now four to four. AOA is the cheapest though.
In anticipation of my future purchase, either in April or May, I ordered a set of sling swivels and brass screw cups. :)

I have bought 3 Weihrauch/Beeman from AoA over the past 8 years. Never had any issue with their product or service. I have always ordered over the phone and talked with a person on the other end of the line. In fact, my HW95 is supposed to be delivered by Big Brown today!!!

If fact, my HW95 is supposed to be delivered by Big Brown today!!!
Congrats, let us know how you like it.

Ok, five for AOA and four for Precision.
I'm seeing the main difference between the HW95 and HW95L as a different stock and front sight. Stock differences are checkering on the forearm?
Brett, let us know what you think of it out of the box,I am much interested.
