I have owned an RWS 34p for a couple of years and love it and now my wife discovered she loves shooting it but is not strong enough to cock it. What would be a PCP that would be as accurate and compare in price or does one exist?

The Discovery is one of the best PCP deals available. It's a single shot available in .177 and .22 calibers. It takes an air fill to 2000 psi so is the easiest PCP to fill, whether by hand pump or by scuba tank (you'd get a lot of fills).

Problem with PCPs is that a way to charge them with high pressure air isn’t all that cheap. Benj. And pump will go for about $400, a good chunk of that is the pump’s price.
Can understand how she’s not care to cock that short barreled 34P. Thinking about that, it’s a pretty sure bet she’d not be too thrilled to pump up the Benjamin every 20-30 shots either. It will become your job, and perhaps a small enough price to pay for wifely peace.
Tank filling doesn’t have the effort, but does have a higher start up cost plus the problems of hauling the tank back and fort to get it filled (it’s like the gas can for the chain saw; it will be empty when you need it most).
Are not that many good easy to cock springers; quality ones cost a bit of $ and aren’t up to the power of the 34P (no free lunch here: energy in proportional to energy out). But they are accurate, light, easy to cock, and she can run it herself.

Problem with PCP airguns for best accuracy. You need to know at what pressure the airgun shoots the best for example 2000psi down to 1500psi. If the fps changes drastically so will the POI. So that means the gun must be shot and tested with a chronograph. Unless you get a regulated PCP airgun. I would assume if you use a pump to fill then you will be doing the pumping. If you use something like scuba tanks it will get expensive and you need a place to get it refilled. There is a lot more to learn about the usage of a PCP airgun and the darkside gate is the place to learn. JMO

Often we think that more is better, however if your just out for fun there's nothing wrong with the Daisy 880, it's cheap, easy to pump and mine is plenty accurate. Doesn't have the glam and glamor but fun to shoot and powerful enough to take out a yellow bill or hosp. And there's lots of mods you can do if you want. Just a thought...

Wife likes PCPs, but tank or pump, its my job to fill them. I'd normally fill one of the long-long shot count PCP's to delay that but still keep her happy. Lucky for me, so likes a slow 12gr. co2 rifle best of all, so I don't have to fill all that often (but that's not a choice for cold weather).
When springers were "it", she just didn't care for cocking my HW35e. Bought a (then new) FWB 124D for her, and she found that one in her cocking range (but not for long plinking sessions). She tried an old HW 55 MM (also still made at that time), and that was pretty much "the catsarse" for her.
Lost it all in 2005 (Katrina) and started over, more consentrated on PCPs. When she does shoot with me, it's normally a PCP.
"She-who-must-be-obayed" as taken over an AA 200T. This is good, as I'll borrow the air tube from an AA s200, fill BOTH ahead of time, and she's good for even a long shooting session.
But back to your situation.
This is a PCP (DarkSide) forum, so have to keep it (at least mostly) about PCPs. Not sure that's the best choice on a budget, esp. as you can't be too sure she'll take to it and shoot all that much. Even if you end up taking over the PCP, would be back here looking for the same wife-rifle.

if the wife likes to shoot and $300ish is you budget perhaps a Flying Dragon .177 CO2 XS60C with a full tune.
add one of his 3x9x40AO REX scopes and you'll still have $25 left for some JSB 8.44 pellets.
as of course, Mike will set it up however you like and treat you well after the sale.

i love mine and the girlfriend said "i like to shoot this one!"
just a thought. (and you don't need a pump or a strong arm to cock it) 8)
and if you ever decide to go completely over to the darkside, you can get the conversion from Mike to change it over to PCP (for like $50, i think)

Could go with that, but would ask Mike if he could strangle off a .177 version to lower speeds/higher shot count. Still doubt the's care much for pump filling, although I find the Chinese pump to work reliably and without as much effort as most.
One think I learned from mine, if the weather is warm, then bulk-fill co2 works pretty well. Being made for such low pressure air (1500psi) they work quite well with spring/summer temperature co2.
