I had 3 different pellets I was asked to shoot to see what each would do. I had RWS super domes 14.5, JSB Jumbos 15.89, JSB Jumbo Heavy 18.13. I have shot one tin of the 18.13 through the gun to shoot it in these will easily do 1/2" or less at 30-50 yds as others have shown. I set a target at 20 yds and shot a 10 shot group of the 2 lighter pellets to see what each would do. The RWS super domes were terrible with a 1 7/8" group but the JSB Jumbos came in at 3/8".
I will shoot the 2 weights of JSB pellets against each other at 30 yds on a calmer day and post the results.

I wouldn't even consider putting any pellets with crimped skirts down the barrel of my air rifle, so your results come as no surprise to me.
Crimped skirt pellets represent a throwback to the bad old days of crude, low spec manufacture IMO and I'm surprised that folks still buy them to use in modern PCP air rifles. :o

Normally I stick with JSB but I was asked by a sponsor to see what the real difference was not just someone guessing. The RWS look great but wouldn't group. I even tried them at the low end of the power curve in case the gun was shooting hot.

Believe it or not, mine shoots CHP's really well.

A word of advice.
Stock Hatsans otb have a preference for a diet of heavier ammo. Since you have the .22, might I suggest you use pellets between 16 and 21 grains for best accuracy. Other than that, you cold also turn the velocity down a bit so you could use the lighter stuff.

Thanks Ricky I actually have a 22 andy a 25 and they both like heavier pellets. Pyramydair sent me some pellets to test and to be honest I knew what the results would be but needed to go ahead and show the results. I will be posting a reviewon my site soon.

RWS Superdomes look like they're a good pellet, but all too often they aren't. JSB Heavy pellets (18.1 grains) often are good performers in the AT44. You might also consider trying H&N Baracuda Match pellets (21.14 grains).

I might look at those later. This was a test for a sponsor so I used what they asked for and provided. For personal use I have better results with the heavier pellets.

I wish my hatsans would shoot jsbs. Both of mine hate them. At44 in .22 cal shoots about 1" group at 12yrds, at44 in .177 is about 1.5" at 12yrds. My .22 cal love Kodiak 21gr. & it also loves benji domes.

I was messing around today shooting both mine at about 90 yards. Just bracing against the door frame I can drop them in a 2" circle almost every shot. What you said proves there is no perfect pellet even in same brand of guns.

I have mine zeroed at 100yrds with the Kodiak's. I've hammered a few birds at 94-96yrds. Last shot was a medium sized hosp, lime you was braced against the door frame. Love the gun.

Awesome shooting! Took the AT44-10 .22 out Sunday, still accurate. Good guns, if they had the wow look to them ppl would see then in a whole different light. I am looking for the perfect stock for them, but all makers are overseas. It would be liken to putting new tires and rims on a car, makes it look totally different..
