Just received my .22 Cal. Daystate Regal XL from AOA.
The Regal came with a single shot tray only.
So I thought no problem I have an extra shot tray from my .22 Cal. Daystate Airwolf.
The probe will not go back enough to allow the tray to seat.

AOA walked me through how to use the tray. No issues.

Congratulations on the Daystate Regal they are beautiful and accurate, are you saying the rifle came with only a single shot tray and no magazine ? ? ?

Really? No magazine ? I get that it's a top of the line rifle and all, but I would be the equivalent of buying a car with no steering wheel. I would have sent it back . Please tell us there's more to the story. Did AOA come good for at least a magazine? The more I read about stuff like this makes me appreciate my Hatsans even more.

I just checked the daystate website . It clearly state the riffle come with the rotary magazine or you can purchase a separate single shot tray .FYI.

I have several trays for my Airwolf so I'm ok there. But the add on AOA does say comes with a shot tray.
Would a HAWKE Sidewinder 30 Tactical 8.5-25x42 be a good choice for the Regal?
If so what rings would I need to clear the tray?

Congrats on a super accurate gun. Just shot mine this evening and it never fails to impress. I'm also confused, did it come with a 10shot rotary magazine and not a single shot tray. I'd be perturbed it they forgot the magazine but AOA would make good on it.

seems like the mag was forgot??? "Nothing has been left to chance on the Regal, from its fully-shrouded match-grade barrel to its solid breech block, which comes fitted with Daystate’s proven 10-shot rotary magazine. If you prefer not to auto-load, this can instantly be replaced with an optional " that was off their website
I use my single shot trays more that any thing on all my mag capable rifles ....still I would want the mag around just in case

I just sent a e-mail to AOA
I ordered my Daystate Regal Serial Number RH-XXXX through my LGS on 2/26/15 Invoice # XXXXX
The gun did not come with the 10 shot rotary magazine as stated in the description you have of the gun.
"Nothing has been left to chance on the Regal, from its fully-shrouded match-grade barrel to its solid breech block, which comes fitted with Daystate’s proven 10-shot rotary magazine."
Did it get misplaced?
I also sent a picture of the list checked off of the Visual Check / Quality Control list that comes in the box. Magazine was checked off

Give AoA a call about the shortage. They are very good about correcting that kind of thing. I have found that giving them a call gets the best results. Leave a message summarizing your problem. Have fun.

;D The Magazine comes packed in the box with the owners manual and the single shot tray was included in the price
