You just never know when you order these what you will get, sometimes the stocks are complete "really, that is hardwood?", other times (not many) they throw you a bone....

A decent group of B1's, if there is such a thing. Stocks on 2 of them are choice!, 1 has not a little filler, but an incredible amount of filler - but they hid it quite well. What looks like some crazy tiger striped maple is actually just smoke and mirrors stain artwork over a lot of mud.

Cheap fun and good little can killers. At less than $20 a copy I plan on shooting the mud right off of the one, the other two make fair trading material.

Just bought a new B1, cut the stock off behind the pistol grip and put a QB6 folding stock on it. Still tinkering but it's going to work. I'm thinking black, already put an AK muzzle brake on it. and a red dot sight. Maybe a sling. "Paratrooper" B1. Why, because it was there.

They're kinda fun aren't they!
Here's my $28.50 .22 underlever with a $6.99 4X32 scope. Shoots an average of 585 FPS with CPHP 14.3gr pellets and holds a 3" group @ 30 Yds.

A lot of fun for a little money! The little paratrooper B1 sounds cool, post some pics when finished!
I shot the mud filled B1 some yesterday, not a lot, but enough to play with it. I have not cleaned this yet, still dieseling, but at 13.5 yards basement shooting on a rest with open sights I shot a few 1" ctc groupings using Daisy wadcutters. A quick pass over the chrony (that will drop yet) showed 493.8fps or about 4fpe - perfect for the basement gallery...

;) Nothing wrong with inexpensive AG's the lower the start up cost the less fear of tearing into it and destroying a high $$$$$ rifle. If you want to get a huge giggle imagine a 68 year old guy crawling around on the basement floor flash light in hand peering under anything looking for a spring or small part that escaped and have that part be functionally important. :D ::) At least with the inexpensive rifles you can buy three and have plenty of spares and immediate spares on hand ;D ;D ;D

Fun project guns. I cut the sights off of my B3-1, and fabricated a new spring guide when the original snapped. Don reinforced my rule of never again working on an airgun over a carpeted floor. RC

I'm amazed that they can make that little underlever, ship it over here and sell it at a profit for under $30. A lot of precision machining and assembly required. The added bonus is when you squeeze the trigger and you hear the sound of stepping on Rice Crispies!

Reporter: Do you think China will ever put a man on the moon?
Chinese woman: Oh, yes.
Reporter: Why do you believe that?
Chinese woman: We have many, many hands.
