Generation 4 released today using the Verizon network. But the Generation 5 is to be released this summer. So I'll wait.
I hope the gen 5 phone has some useful features that I can use. Such as, It will have 4 limbs with thumbs on all fours. It will be able to do tasks for me. Whip up breakfast, make coffee, start the car, peek out the window to keep an eye on anything suspicious. It will also remind me of everything and of most importance it will know and find whatever I can't find. Especially where I left my cup of coffee.
Also it will know exactly where the tools I need are . And tell me if that particular tool has been borrowed. And by whom.
It will be as agile as a cat and as faithful as a puppy. You know , follow me around, and always be happy to see me. And won't get mad if I use another phone.
Just some thoughts.

I was able to pre order my Verizon iPhone on Feb 3 and I got it on Feb 7. I'm still playing around with it to find out everything it's capable of doing. One of the rumors concerning iPhone 5 is it will be 4G. The Verizon 4G network is very small at this time, available in less than 40 major cities in the US. The iPhone 5 might also be available in white/silver. Another thing I found out from Verizon, they are going to eliminate the unlimited data plans in the near future. If you have one now, it will not be taken away from you unless you change your plan.

no carrier is truly 4G capable right now... at least not in the US.
