Title: .25 cal. Marauder rifle - more shots per fill

I tuned one of my .25 cal. Marauder rifles today for more shots per fill ( see pic/chart ). Starting with a 3000 psi fill pressure, I stopped at 36 shots, for a 3% es, with an average of 35 fpe, using 25.39 grain JSB pellets. With some more tweaking of the fill pressure and/or maybe the hammer spring adjustment, I should be able to get 40- good/accurate shots ( 5- full magazines ).

I wanted to test for accuracy out to 48 yards ( see pic ), but the wind was blowing so much, I just shot a 3- shot group. I can test for accuracy on another day, when the wind is not blowing around so much.

I just received a new scope in and mounted it onto the rifle ( see pic ) http://www.weaveroptics.com/optics/riflescopes/tseries/ (http://www.weaveroptics.com/optics/riflescopes/tseries/). I have the one with the fine crosshair 1/8 MOA dot reticle. I got it mainly for testing pellet accuracy. I did quite a bit of research and found where a lot of the competitors with .22 cal. rifles like it, so I though I would give it a try. I’m looking forward to testing it out. The scope comes with traditional eyepiece focus, a sunshade, screw-in aluminum lens caps and an extra pair of oversized benchrest adjustment knobs. The rifle with the scope mounted weights just under 9 lbs..

What custom parts did you install?

I have a friend locally that just ordered a .25 mrod, and is looking to do some "adjusting"

Do you have the link to some of your tunes for a stock .25 mrod?

Longer shroud, upgrade kit, barrel band.  I also adjusted the trigger.
