Title: At what velocity?

Wanting to ask at what velocity do JSB EXACT KINGS 25.4grn.  pellets perform best? My FX elite 25cal rifle is shooting them at 875fps. Also my rifle has a Benchmark ss 3 groove barrel.   :-\

Tony,

A LOT OF VARYING FPS.  Barrels are sooooo unpredictable.  My Rapid 25 was accurate at 930-940 fps.  At 960 fps, things became unraveled.  At 880-890 (supposed magic pellet speed), it was horrible too.

My Cricket spits them out at 955fps.

Different barrels will always handle the same pellet differently to varying degrees. There's no magic velocity for optimum accuracy for all barrel/pellet combos. Best option is to adjust velocity up or down if possible & see what that barrel/pellet combo does from there.
I don't know if that's an option for you with the gun in question though.
