So I have 2 barrels for my prod.
However, I haven't been able to get it to shoot better than about 1.5"-2" groups at 25 yards. It used to do .5" groups before I sent it to Bloomfield to fix the pressure gauge leak.
I tore it apart, again, last night and closely inspected what I could. I didn't get into the air tube, but I did get the breech off, and the barrel out. In inspecting both barrels, it appears that there are dimples on the inside, right where the machined out flat parts are for the set screws. Now, I know I haven't screwed it down tight enough to dimple, and in fact the dimples appear to be concave and not convex, on the interior of the barrel. Additionally, on one of the barrels, the set screw hasn't even been tightened enough to mar the finish on the flat part.
My question is, are these dimples common? They are appear, in differing degrees, on both barrels. I've polished the barrels last night, with JB Bore Paste, and hope to do some more accuracy testing today.
Also, Tim McMurray, if you read this, do you do prep work on Marauder Pistol barrels? I might just order a new one from you...

I have seen this reported before on crosman barrels, not prod specific. I just pulled a Prod one from my parts bin and inspected. It is not polished, but could not see any dimples at any of the three flats. When I have read about this in other threads, there did not seem to be a direct link to poor accuracy.
