Just wanted to tell my new family how proud i am of my daughter, im doing it here because of clicks and polotics that arise in highschool sports if i did it on the team site some would think im all about bragging and not see that im just proud of her team spirit and toughness.
She is a starter on the varsity basketball team, and going to be playing college ball next year, a couple of weeks ago she broke her pinky finger in a game, she just taped it up went out and had a great game, now yesterday she broke her little toe..her foot is purple and black gross looking, she has nurmerous bruises, dings and dents....after breaking her toe she just had them tape it (knowing you cant do much for a toe anyway), she played the whole game in pain, she didnt have her best game but still managed 8 pts,7 rebounds, a couple of steals...im just so proud of her dtermination through these injuries..some kids ( and parents for that matter) would just sit out but nuttin was keeping her out! They are undefeated and having a great year. My hat goes off to my little girl, Alexis im a proud papa!
Just needed to get that out somewhere!

She sound's like a tough player Iron, most kid's would of fallen out with the finger break let alone running up an down a hard wood floor with a broken little toe(I know what those feel like).
WAY TO GO ALEXIS!!!! An GOOD LUCK your way this season!!!

Ezman said it perfectly!

Do brag her up! And I know what you mean about clicks, etc. Lots of politics there. But, when it comes to colleges, it's all about the scouting, so that tells me she's a cut above.

She got her spirit from her Mom and Dad. Be proud. Ain't nothing wrong with that.

Go MUSKIES.
I know of their women's program!
They've made the NCAA many times.
PS: When I was a kid, we made a few trips to Winne, to jerk perch.
