Cleaned the duct seal from my quiet trap yesterday and needed a quick replacement so I bought three polyester fill bed pillows extra firm at Walmart $2.88 ea put them in a card board box with an extra pillow behind the box and 1/16 thick oven broiler pan behind the last pillow against the sheet rock. No worry the 31gr pellet did not completely penetrate the second pillow . I have now got a very inexpensive (cheap) bullet trap for the man cave ;D ;D ;D ;D

Very good idea for a pellet trap.
Have to try this.
Thank you for posting.

;D Thats the nice thing about the polyester fiber fill , really quiet if the paper didn't make noise you would think the rifle didn't shoot .
;) ;D Brian you have a greater risk of feathers everywhere if one of your chickens gets in front of the bait station just as you make a shot on a nice fat rat ;D ;D

Hahahahaha I do worry about that sometimes, mot of my ratting is after I pull up there ramp! LOL.. Hope this snow is over soon, this time of year the rats get free run, I have to board up the run so it doesn't fill with snow. So Behind the three foot of snow is a 1/2 sheet of plywood and the rats... RUDE awakening for them the day that comes down.. bahahahahaha

Hey Don. Your allowed to shoot in the house? I got a no way and the evil eye >:( when I merely suggested it to the Mrs. And that was in the basement of MY (our) house! Lol!
I'm allowed to shoot in my garage though, I guess 20' is better than nothing in this weather!
-
I have a door from the garage to the backyard. So I set my shooting table up inside the garage, open the door and have close to 30 yards to shoot. Not completely climate controlled but not out in the elements either.

The wife and I have an agreement I can shoot in the basement as long as I don't shoot her sons when they annoy her ;D ;D ;D
