I'm wondering if the discovery action will fit into a marauder stock. All the info I've been able to gather leads to the affirmative, but i would kind of like to know before i invest. The only issue i can see is clearing the air tube but with a BNM repeating breech i believe that is solved. Any body have both guns or knowledge to confirm my thoughts? Any help would be greatly appreciated

I would say yes... This rifle was built by one of our mods!

Is that a double disco with a repeating breech, marauder trigger, and challenger trigger guard? That would be great news because that is essentially what I plan on building.....
-
It is indeed good sir!!
Before you use the challenger's trigger guard, try the Mrod one first... unless of course, you actually like the Challenger's trigger guard!
-
Would you happen to know if the older marauder stocks( with the adjustable cheek rest) fit as well?
-
The Mrod stocks w/an adjustable cheek rest are Gen2 Mrods. Not sure if they fit...
-
The Mrod stock will not fit like you think it will, even if you get it on the disco, the stock is milled out way too big for the air tubes on the Disco! The Mrod tube is I think 1-1/4" OD or so, and the Disco is 7/8" .... you are better off getting a stock made for the Double tube Disco! I am sure someone has a used stock you could get or maybe get one from Norm at Disco's R US. Sometimes he has blemished stocks that have been repaired that you can get reasonable enough in price!
All I can say if it was me, it more than likely would be more of a hassle than its worth!

True- but the Katana stocks fit the same- you could just fill using auto body filler... It might be a little heavy though.
I'm re-filling some of the inlet w/ 7/8" wooden dowel, and re-inletting the stock (at home, w/a router) , and filling the rest in with auto body filler. I'm also kicking around the idea of pillar and glass bedding it as well. That's another route the OP can take... For what, $60 and some elbow grease, the OP can have a pretty decent stock!

That would work, you could maybe somehow make spacers of different types of wood and give it a unique look all to its own, or if you get to much filling and it don't look rite you can always camouflage it or a tough coat of bed liner!
If you do it make sure you post some pics of before, during and after!
Good luck on your project ;D

Could also just dip it in a wood scheme, and have it coated in gloss... burl wood anyone?
