Post by: torgo on February 19, 2015, 07:53:12 PM
Is there a difference between the Disco .177 valve and the Disco .22 valve?

Thx

I do believe the valves are the same. The only thing I see different is the Barrel, Bolt and Bolt O-ring!

The only other thing I can think of that may be different is the ID of the Transfer Port, but I think it is the same on both calibers also.

Valves are identical, right down to the part number....

Thx for the help.

I am building a Disco from some left over parts and I have a valve from a .177 but a .22 barrel.

I'll try and post a pic when I get done.

This is my Tactical Discovery.  Built from parts I had and a few I ordered from Crosman.

Good Job, especially from left over parts, you got me thinking, I have a barrel, bolt, receiver and Disco stalk. I also have bags of other parts and Orings, I may just try to order the other parts and see what it would cost to put together another Disco!

I guess we have to do something with all the leftovers lol

Thanks for the pic, looks good  ;D

You could say that LOL
I had a couple Discos built with double tube kits and BNM breeches and have all the original parts from those builds as well I purchased extra barrels from crosman trying to get a good one, so I do have extra bicycle parts to play with LOL

NICE,  will the gauge work without the adapter?  I though that the threads in the gauge block were not tapered so that is why there is an o-ring there?

How does it shoot?

I use a P-Rod block and gauge.  I needed the air flow for my hawged out valve Mike @ TKO did for me.  How's it shoot?  I take P-Dawgs at 125yds in it's present state.  I will have a full shroud on it in about 2 weeks.  I have another band for it with the shroud.  It will be very quiet.  How does yours shoot?
