Cool! 8) Though I doubt they'll be accurate.
Happy B-day! ;D

I bet those cost a premium. Where did you get them and how much?
-
Those look like they will be good... if there accurate they should be a good Lead Alternative
-
Happy Birthday!!!! ;D Where or who did you order them from? Ordered in December and just now getting them?
Let us know how they work for you. I've not seen any info on them

I would appreciate any testing you can do i.e. grouping at various distances, weights for consistency, chronograph readings, penetration and expansion results etc.

I got them Directly from Gamo..No time to shoot yet and can only test at 12 yards in my basement...Many feet of snow outside...No chrony but do have a scale. My dynamic sn2 are penetration king and will be interesting to see how these match up.
This will give you an idea how long they are...
CPHP,Beeman FTS,H&N Hollowpoint,H&N spitzkugel, RWS Superpoint extra, Dynamic SN2,PBA Bullet, Dynamic XP2, Polymag, RWS hyper velocity.

How does $20 for 150 sound??? That's over 13 cents a round! Not in my lifetime.
NOTHING beats lead. jmo.

Lol, Yeah not cheap and not for target practice..I see them advertise for around $15 on other sites but still not cheap.I just wanted to try them.

I wonder if they are a Copper alloy? I would guess so, as pure Copper would probably be even more expensive than they already are :o I guess if you are concerned about Lead or live/shoot in an area where lead is banned for hunting, they may have merit.

Hmm..Maybe i should cut or try and scrape off the copper to see.

Just as with the Raptors, those lightweight pellets will abuse the living daylights out of a springer.
Might do okay below 1000fps in a PCP or pumper, but harder than lead pellets tend not to grip the rifling very well.
More likely a novelty item.
Edit: Oops! I see they weigh 14.4 grains, so would definitely not harm a springer.
Just have my doubts about their effectiveness, either on game or on target.

i was contemplating on getting some of those, but i have a feeling they won't be very accurate.. i have some crosman pointed ssp's (9.5grn) that i got for my 2240 and they proved to be inaccurate. after shooting one into a milk jug full of water i inspected the pellet and there was barely any rifleing marks on it and some of the skirt was peeled back, which proves that they don't catch the rifleing too good. let us know your results of any tests you try
oh and they have these on pyramyd air now, along with a couple other new pellets
-
Keep us posted when you do an accuracy test.
I live in commiefornia home of the California condor so I gotta play by the rules.
Thanks

Check the Fish and Game booklet. Air guns are not considered firearms in Ca and you are legal to shoot lead pellets in the Condor zone

Pyramid Air has them now for around $15 plus shipping! I liked the copper plated pellets that I purchased from them last year so I'm very inclined to at least try the Gamo PBA Bullets once to see how they handle.
Soooo any word on how the Copper Bullets shoot yet? I'm still curious to hear about how they group and if they're consistant.
