I only just heard of people using pancake compressors to boost hand pumps. I live in an apartment so I'm looking for a quiet solution that doesn't break the bank. Has anyone used an air brush compressor in this way? http://www.amazon.com/Airbrush-Depot-AIRBRUSH-COMPRESSOR-REGULATOR/dp/B0038D79DC#Ask (http://www.amazon.com/Airbrush-Depot-AIRBRUSH-COMPRESSOR-REGULATOR/dp/B0038D79DC#Ask)

;D Well for $79 if it doesn't work out not a lot out of pocket . I use a noisy Porter cable pancake compressor I just don't know if the airbrush compressor will work but since there is not a great deal of volume in the hand pump you may be alright.
