You might try and go to Discos R Us in the vendors gate and ask Norm who sells the trigger with a shim that is needed to make it work right.

You simply remove the old trigger and replace it with the new trigger! Really, it is that simple! You should not need the shim but if you find that you do, don't buy one, PM me and I will send you the one I bought that I did not need!

 ;).

Depending on the trigger / disco build date. Determins shim. IIRC.

Plus stock trigger guard modifications of coarse. ;)

The tube on the discovery is a little thinner than the Marauder so the sear is closer to the hammer. It may drag on the hammer, could even break the sear. I will buy the shim for 12.00 if nothing else just to make sure it's to spec. Some get buy without it just fine. The shim just makes a better fit to the tube and insures the has enough clearance.
You will need to rig up a trigger guard. Not sure of the best way to do that yet myself. If nothing else a Crossman Challenger(I think it's the challenger) trigger guard can be made to work.

mine needed shim from Llyod Sikes- Airguns Labs. and use gen1 trigger not gen2-- YES GEN1- NO gen2 trigger group- on my second one- first one had the hardest safety lever I have ever seen- new one is like glass. No idea did not play with it MAKE it better...trigger feel good too- little too much travel but that will get tuned

how do i know if i have a gen1 or gen2 marauder trigger, i'll probably be ordering it from crosman. Also does anyone have pics or a guide on how to install the trigger or is it as easy as loosening a couple screws and popping in the new assembly. Do i need to degas the gun first? i dont even own a degasser for it

Order your trigger from Discos R Us, he will personally set you straight! It is as simple as removing a couple screws and replacing the old trigger with thee new one! No need to degas at all!

The problem was the drop sear hitting the radius in the trigger link and not completely clearing the hammer. They opened the radius on the later ones which solved the problem. You still have a .030 deeper sear engagement on the hammer with the Disco, the shim solves this, so I would still install it. Could make difference in accuracy, the quicker the hammer moves after pulling the trigger, the better.
