Ok, gang, I got one more question before I makes my purchase. Just in case I can find a Disco for around $150-ish, how does it compare to the XS60 PCP? I saw someone said the XS60 feels a lot like a Marlin 60, which is a huge plus as far as I'm concerned.
But I haven't heard anything bad about the XS60, so is the Disco just out right better in every way (except looking and feeling like a Marlin)? Or are they pretty comparable?
Thanks!
Chris

Not sure which XS60C you are referring to. If it is the Gen 1 $100 rifle you may need to check if is under any kind of warranty.

I have not done the PCP thing yet
but I know Crosman parts are just a phone call away... and likely to be for many years to come(I hope/believe).

I have owned both a Disco and a Gen1 XS60. Both handle and shoot very well, but I would have to give the nod to the Disco. I put a Marauder trigger group in my Disco, which made it even better. There are many aftermarket items for the Disco too, haven't seen any for the XS60. As was said before, Crosman parts are a phone call away, delivered quickly and reasonably priced.

Whatever generation it is that Mike currently sells. He lists them for $165 including shipping.
From everything I've read about Mike on here, I'd imagine that it's not too difficult get parts or send it in to him for repair should something go heinously wrong.
Or is it actually not easy to get parts and repairs from Flying Dragon?
Thanks!

I am a loyal Flying Dragon/Mike Mellick fan. The man is an asset to the airgun community. I also own 3 of his XS60C Gen I FD-PCP rifles which BTW, were advertised and sold as a tinkerer's airgun with no warranty. His current offering is the GEN II which is a C02 gun from factory. Mike will mod this gun to be bulk fill HPA. You can get it set up for low power and high shot count or the irreversible high power and lower shot count. I don't know if he offers a warranty with this modded version. I would expect spares would be available for the current XS60. Now, if I were going to buy a gun and leave it stock to maintain the warranty, I would probably go with the Disco but, who leaves them stock? Not me. I never could need well enough alone. So that probably makes any warranty null and void. Mike will go out of his way to make you a happy customer. Crosman makes it very simple and inexpensive to buy spares. Their shipping leaves a bit to be desired but all in all, they fulfill. Good Luck with your decision.
