They had 8 of them at $38 and some change this morning :o
They are all gone now but I picked up a few for that price unless they cancel the order. Still haven't received an email saying they have shipped yet. They usually ship on the same day so I won't hold my breath!
They were the black synthetic stock .177 ones. I have been happy with my 125 in .25 so I bet these are pretty nice.
My jaw dropped when I saw the price! ;D

noticed when they had the 1000 vortex for 70 something, they wont ship to Mi any more. used to spend a lot of $$$ with them. no more

Picked up a 1000s in .25 for 57$!!! Couldn't pass it up even though I have a 125 .25with Crosman Nitro Piston. Cleaned the barrel with couple dry patches and first shot over the chrony was 920 ft per second with the 19 grain H&N domes. Wow! Then she settled down to just over the advertised 650+. Trying to break it in and was slinging H&N 26 grain hollow points well over 600 ft per second. Happy with that but the action is still very loud and spring vibration is nasty. Seems a bit louder and fps fell under 540 fps today with the 26 grain hollows. Hoping there is nothing wrong with the seal. Had a .22 Edge that fell to low 600 fps and it didn't sound right. Sent it back to AGD and got a replacement. That gun now shoots CHP high 700 to 800 fps and is smoother. Thinking the piston valve might be flawed. But I will continue to" break it in" and see if the action and speed change. I know what these are hit or miss and need to learn how to work on springers.

My 125 in .25cal is a regular springer. How are you liking the nitro piston in yours? Have you checked your velocity numbers with the nitro piston?
-
Kevin, forget the numbers off hand but my 125 has chronied 27 to 31 foot pounds with a variety of pellets and the most coming from the 31 grain Barracudas. There is no vibration but just a quick slam of the piston. Very easy to cock. I don't find it real hold sensitive and very accurate. Pyramyd Air put in the piston so maybe their "installing" was a tune job. Pretty happy with it but it is big and cumbersome that is why I picked up the 1000s and the jury is still out on that.

Better check mine! Thanks for the heads up!
-
Well I bought 4 and all 4 are in the clear with 0813 as the first 4 serial numbers so that is good!
-
0214, I'm not in the recall
And if they are recalling 2400 guns because of a single report of an incident, is that typical?

good question, probably a design flaw that could cause a problem they found in testing that may only happen in certain circumstances

$50 at the Museum or you can order it online (costs more + shipping): http://daisymuseum.3dcartstores.com/Arkansas-Razorback-Red-Ryder-BB-gun_p_173.html (http://daisymuseum.3dcartstores.com/Arkansas-Razorback-Red-Ryder-BB-gun_p_173.html)
I would highly recommend making the trip to the museum and picking up one there, lots of fun!
