I do not like the fact that Hatsan use the same stock for all of the re BT65 newer guns, the QE has the same stock, the .30 cal, and .357 all have the same stock :o
Im going to buy a .30 but do not want the stock, I have a few optins
1, use a BT65 Elite stock and have in camo dip or keep it like it is.
2, buy this stock and have it fitted .....http://www.rifle-stocks.com/silhouette.htm (http://www.rifle-stocks.com/silhouette.htm)
3, look for a bullpup stock for it.........http://airenlaces.blogspot.com/2012/08/bullpups.html (http://airenlaces.blogspot.com/2012/08/bullpups.html)

good luck getting any laminates. there were only 2 laminate makers i know of. a big one and small one. the big one burnt to the ground, and the small one has me backed up 3 months on wood.
that stock is slick though. i almost got one a few times. richards can inlet for a qb. if yours isn't much different , it may be easier to get it inletted for the qb and then finish it. i can't say if that will work as i've never held a hatsan. just an idea.
peace

these guys are local and are in business, so getting the stock is not a problem.....

You could try a tacticool from boyd's:

I'm sure you can get one uninlet, and talk to http://www.airgunstocks.com/ (http://www.airgunstocks.com/) to see if he'll inlet it for you. I like the tacticool...

I am with you Baxter on the stocks on a BT65, something I noticed when I had mine to pieces was how heavy the synthetic stock is, I did not weigh it but I think it is heaver than the action. David
-
yes they are, got to try and change things up....
-
They don't make their own laminates, they buy from the company that burnt down. just like boydd's and others. now they get it from the smaller company and they are 3-months behind because they were never a large supplier. check and see if they have the wood, but boyds and others are running out of their stashes quickly.
-
Then that would lead me to buying a BT65 Elite stock which is not offered with the .30 or .357, then doing some mods to it myself or have it dip.
-
Where would one be able to purchase the BT65 Elite stock aftermarket Baxter?
I've been looking for one a while now & somehow can't find one for sale anywhere.
-
first im going to try Hatsan then Rick...
-
Good luck, & keep us posted.
If they can supply I'm gonna need 2
-
I will let you know

I was talking to Rick before he left from SHOT and Hatsan is getting in and starting to sell the stocks separately now. However if you were wanting a REAL nice custom stock and dont mind putting out north of $400 then this guy is amazing and specializes in air rifles:
http://www.airgunstocks.com/ (http://www.airgunstocks.com/)
I have talked to Michael on the phone and email a few times and he is a great guy and this is a work of passion for him. Check out the wood he has access to on the site. :o Anyway he has a few examples on there and some pricing guidelines. This is the guy I am having make both my old Hw77 FT stock and a nice walnut for my Hatsan PCP also later this year.
Good luck in your search and keep us updated!

Good to know that they'll be selling the BT stocks , but the question is when.
Any idea on an availability time-line Dave?

ASAP from what I gathered. We will hopefully hear something more after SHOT show. You can fill out a customer service request form on HatsanUSA.com and they will keep you updated. :D

I have been sitting here thinking the same thing about my AT 44 I love it but man it is a tank and not the greatest looking stock out there. I would like to get a wood stock and then reshape it to make it look and feel better. Might look at the Hatsan replacements to see if I could use one of those.
-
I am still waiting ??? If anyone gets any info please pm me or post it, I really want a couple of wood stocks.
-
ok guys, SHOT show is over.
Anyone heard anything or got a response yet?
-
Man it's like a needle in a hay stack to get a stand alone stock :o
