Title: So if I wanted a HW45 Black Star in .22 where would I go about finding one?

i am in the United States.

Any ideas?

Airguns of Arizona offers the Silver Star, I would contact them, maybe they can get a Black Star for you?

+1 on contacting the dealer. When I looked into getting a Black Star last year there were none to be found in the States.
Also, IIRC, the grips on the Star models are not interchangeable with the 1911 pistol grips. So if you don't like the grips or
they don't quite fit your hand, you're stuck with them. Only the HW45 / P1 model grips can be swapped out with 1911 grips.
That said, you might think about getting the HW45 or P1, since they are black, and then buy some custom grips.
Just a thought.
