Title: What Bi-Pod for a Marauder .22? What about a Shootiing rest?
Post by: yelvero on February 03, 2011, 06:51:12 PM
How do you air gunners feel about a bi-pod... If its a go... What one do you recommend for my PCP? And what height ranges is the best for all around shooting?

Updated:   What do you think about a shooting rest instead?  Which would be a better all around shooting platform?

Thanks for help  ;D,
Bob

The 6-9 inch would be lightest and it will come in handy when supporting rifle when working on. Some guns shoot good with bipod some do not.

Yep a Harris is a good one, mine is the swivel type which really come's in handy when shooting from uneven surface's. It's a 6 to 11 inch, set at 8 1/2" right now for prone.

I have a Winchester 9"-13" bi-pod I bought from WalMart for about $39.  Works fine and is a good platform when working on my rifle. The rifle shoots well resting on the bi-pod. It does not pivot but for $39 it does what I need.

I have a Shooters Ridge 6-9 in model.  Mounts on the sling stud.  Very easy on and off.  Got my on sale for less than $20.00 ;)
