Maybe........., but with only two posts and no details, I might be wrong in profiling you as a troll, too. ;)

Post a link to the pump you mean, there are a few different ones from China on the market..
(I know, I own one, but it's still going strong).

Yes, more info would be appropriate before negatively addressing a product.
I believe the pump in question is the one below, which I have yet to have seen, or see anyone else using.

I do know the Chinese made pumps Mike over at flyingdragon.org is selling so far seem to have gained a pretty good track record. Mine has almost a year on it without a rebuild and is still working very well.

I have seen it online, but don't know anyone with it.
It looks like a hill copy, but with the intake up high like an FX pump.
I like the idea of stainless parts.
But brass may be better suited..

3 heRs and going strong on a flying dragon pump.......this guy needs to stop painting with such a broad brush

You might be surprised exactly which pumps really do start off life in China.
Inexpensive one from Flying Dragons hasn't missed a beat yet, but I've not been using it fore a real long time (like 7 months?).
Will give you this, when they first imported BAM50's (way back when) were some pumps brought in with them...those were bad. Some time back (maybe 5 years) was a short try of a pump (think AOA sold them) which lasted a day with me.
So, yeah there have been some horrible pumps, and perhaps yours is one of them, but I've no complaint about the country of origin.

Me neither, my benjamin pump is marked made in China, Duane may have designed it, and they may assemble it and service them here, but the base is marked. Made in China..
But like a timex, it keeps on ticking..

My Flying Dragon China pump has never let me down, and I use it with my BT65 Elite at 200 bar with no problem. Not familiar with the other brand China pump, but it is a stretch to say all China pumps are a bad purchase.

My Flying Dragon pump seems to work fine so far.
I think you are painting with too broad a brush.
