Title: my first Air Arms
Post by: Nerka on November 23, 2014, 11:58:58 PM
My first Air Arms...........bought the S-510 Xtra FAC in .22 Walnut Stock, I have no idea why I waited so long, this thing is love all the way around, I just mounted a Hawke 30 6-24x56 on it today, and Booo Hooo no time to shoot it, I have a Laser bore sight that I will do next, other than that upwards and onwards.

I tell you what, I'll snap one in the AM, first time shooting today, mounted my Hawke scope (awesome) filled to 2900# , poked the laser in it's snout, @ 10 meters did an adjustment, fired 2 shot to pull it together, and wham bam, what a lovely gun, hope to hit the range Wed.

 8) You will not be disappointed If you order the RAW foster fill adapter it is the better way to go and it fits under the fill cap

I couldn't find my post but pretty much all you need to know to install the RAW foster ( except there are 2 models, one for the older LARGE fitting and one for the "t" fitting, both install the same but do be sure to tell them which you need).

John, I have had nothing but bad experiences with AA magazines. I have had a total of 5 fail to index properly in my s510 when the RC ones work flawlessly. Granted they did work, somewhat rough when I changed the indexing post but the RC ones worked with either of the two posts and are much higher quality. For the extra $10 per magazine I sent all of my AA ones back to PA for refund.
