Please, report back on your findings !!! I can seriously get behind their 500/box price.

Don't waste your money. I tried the non HP in a TJ barreled condor and they are no good. It is the same bullet just HP.
Just look at the pic and you can see they don't look good.
They are in my melt down box. One or the problem is they are not gas check and the base of the bullet isn't perfect after sizing.

I would like to try them in my Sumatra. Do you want to work out some trade for them?

The round nose ones shoot great in my Sumatra
-
Let me see if I can dig some out. I have a box full of slugs that I tried before I started casting.
What's the biggest slug you can shoot?

Maybe they are making them better. It was 2 years ago. They had to replace the first 500 they sent me because they all had a crimp mark on the side.
How far were you shooting? At 100 yds they were at least 6".

I have a 25 Sumatra, not sure but if the diameter is ok weight shouldn't be a problem. I'm about to give casting a try for .357 and 45 cal but want to try some slugs in my 25 also.

I notice that these are NOT the round-nosed bullets they used to sell.... They now sell a flat-nose and a hollow-point.... However, if you look at the close-up of the FN you can see a lip around the edge of the nose where it looks like they changed their previous RN design into the FN and HP.... The base looks the same as the previous RN, which appeared to be nothing more than a .25 ACP bullet.... I suspect they shortened it from a RN to a FN to function in an MRod magazine.... as the RN used to jam...

I like the look of the Flat nose, ...definitely worth trying
If those guys shoot the price for the 500 box sure is nice.
-
I believe there prices include shipping. Worth a try I'm ordering some tonight for my Sumatra.
-
Cool, if they work on the Sumatra they will work on my Career barrel too,. I'll keep checking for progress, thanks
-

I went ahead and placed an order of the round nose types. Thanks for looking.

If these shoot good in a sumatra I will buy some. Going to watch this post for updates.

I ordered both the solid and hollow points. Maybe I can test this weekend if I don't deer hunt all day.
-
I too ordered both hollow point and solid point. Hope they don't fall out of my Sumatra magazine. If so, I reckon I'll have to send off a magazine to Will Piatt and get him to groove it.

I have shot 53 grain round nose and flat nose from my Mrod. They were cast by a forum member in trade, not Hunter supply. But they look identical to the older 53 grain round nose they sold. Never cronied them but figured 700fps at muzzle. The FN grouped (8 shots)under 1" @ 25 yards, the RN where 2.5" Even @ 700FPS they destroyed(coon squirrel skunk)what they hit. Just added WAR hop-ups and the RN are going 750FPS @ muzzle now, that puts Kings @ 976FPS. Been waiting on an accuracy report on these for a while now.

Any accuracy report on these yet?
-
Come on guys post the results......

Any accuracy report on these yet?
1" inch groups at 50yds, I'm shooting a stock gen 2 marauder, fps at the muzzle averages 665 with both round nose and hollow point. The weight of the round nose averages 49gr and the hollow point is 48gr.
-
Sounds good. Thanks for the info.

I posted a thread of how they performed for me in my 25 cal Sumatra. They really didn't work that well for me. And considering I was getting the same fpe with 43 gr Eun Jin pellets I decided not to make them a part of my kit. The reason I researched them is that I was looking to start casting 25 cal bullets to save money.
-
My Sumatra carbine hated these bullets.

I'll order some of these too! You guys liking them??
They have good selections too!!

If anyone has some they don't want I'll gladly take them off your hands.
-
Well I don't know when I'll shoot them. But the guy had some other offerings I wanted too so last night I sent him most of 100$. ;). I grabbed 100 25 hrs to try in my lightly modded MRod 25.

Cool CW. The other stock Marauder seemed to like them. Love to see how your modded Mrod does. Good luck Bro.
