Title: Question about my Hawke Eclipse 6-24x50
Post by: CharlesL15 on November 22, 2014, 08:26:55 PM
Hi guys, so yesterday, after I finished a shooting session with my RWS 54, I noticed a problem with my scope. When I tried to turn the magnification dial, it refused to budge. The dial would only move between the 8 and 10 times zoom. I contacted Hawke about it, and they said that I should send it in, but I'd like to get a second opinion before I do. Is there anything I can do to resolve this issue?

My advice is to maybe send it in? Hawke has a great warranty service and may even just swap your scope for the Endurance which is replacing the Eclipses. Nice upgrade. If not, then at least you get your scope fixed free without risk of damaging/voiding warranty.

Thanks for the reply. I'll send it in soon, but if I can get an endurance, that'd be great 8) On PyramidAir they're selling for $350, while I only paid $200 for the eclipse.
