Today I got me a pest with the 880 and posted it.. A guy suggested I pop the little suckers with the 909s! lol.. I got to thinking though... I molded a bunch of 1oz slugs out of bird shot, and got new wads to accommodate the slugs back into the shells, and BAM, it occurred to me that 410 shotgun and 45 LC are interchangeable!.. .45 909s... Hmmmm.. A 410 wad filled with lead bird shot, somehow taped, so they wont spill out, stuffed into the chamber of my 909.. Follow me? What do You think? Did I miss anything? I gotta find some cheap 410 wads to find out..!! Muhuhuhuhahahahaaaaa!

I think it would work one thing though. Shooting it out of your rifled barrel will leave a shot pattern of a donut in other words what your aiming at you won't hit but you will shoot a ring around what your aiming at. If you had a smoothbore barrel then that would be perfect and wouldn't create that donut pattern. or you could try and just aim to the side of what you are shooting at.

Good point! At one point I was worried about the rifling, then it occurred to me the the wad would be riding the grooves, spinning the shot inside.. Had no idea about the ring pattern tho, thought it would just be widely dispersed pattern. Thanks for the input!
