Does anyone know if the thumbhole stock on a trail NP XL can be replaced with a non-thumbhole synthetic or wood stock from any other airgun?

Welcome to the GTA. There are none that I know of at this time. I've been hoping they come out with a synthetic for them. I'm sure a few of the guys can back me up on this.

At this time, none that I'm aware of. I have a fellow member looking into getting a carbon fiber stock made for an XL and I'm waiting on the Remington Summit stock to be back in stock at Crosman. I have plans to buy a stock duplicator and a plan on grafting an XL foregrip with a Summit butt. Should make for an interesting combination. Stay tuned.
Happy Shooting!!!!

Yep, it DOES look like it might fit but Crosman will not have parts available until a product has been on the market for 1 year. Timed for when the original warranty starts to expire. COULD buy the rifle to see. :)

Nitro venom stock is synthetic and it works for sure and crossman will sell you one. Ask for Kim. Dave might be right about avalibility (he may be wrong too :) ) call Kim.

the nitro venom comes in a wood and synthetic stock, but it looks like it would fit the regular trail np, not the xl..

Done tried to buy one...LOL.

well lets hope it works! if not it will give you a reason to buy another gun hahaha ;)

The Venom Nitro Piston sold at Sportsmand Guide has the old Phantom Synthetic stock on it. The new Nitro Venom coming out in 2011 is the same but with new wood stock design. Still same power plant as the Vennom made now and the Trail NP and not XL. You will need a shoe horn to make the XL fit in that stock...:)
