Title: Pump question
Post by: CurmudgeInn on October 30, 2014, 09:39:48 PM
I while back I picked up a Hill pump. Last week I got in my Cricket .25.  Currently I only have dive tanks and my local shop will only fill them to around 3200psi. After a few fillings on the cricket I am below 3k psi. From what I understand the hill can pump to 3300PSI.  Is this correct?  Until I can afford a SCBA tank I will be pumping by hand. (good for my fat belly).  Do any of you pump 3k psi rifles at all?

From what everyone preaches about the Hill's it should have no problem doing that. I have a Air Venturi G4 and pump a 13ci and 17ci bottle to 3000 with ease. My 1720T to 3200 without much effort at all. Now the Benji pump I have is much better suited to the Disco at 2K. beyond that and you have to work.

I fill my MK4 up to 3300 psi with the benjamin pump... so I would think that the Hill would have no problems.

Just watch the o-rings inside for wear and breaking.
