Just picked this up today. Crosman Model 1 in its original case. It's been sitting in my Mom's friend's closet for more than 25 years since her husband passed.
Appears to be in perfect condition except can't hold any pressure. I've never worked on an old gun like this but plan to make a project of it.
Any suggestions on where to start? Thanks for any and all suggestions.

Nice looking rifle. I found one in a antique store a couple weeks age that was trashed so bad I walked on it.

Nice... well first I would just use a little lube and see if that is all it needs...
most likely it needs a new set of seals and pump cup 2100 parts work I am pretty sure.
then I would go here(below ) and download the evp it is near the bottom and under model # 2280

then I would watch this vid so you can see what it is involved in with tearing down and reassembly.

Thanks very much for the advice - very informative video! Looks like I can get 2100 cup and seals on eBay. Need to run out for some Pelgunoil tomorrow.

You can probably get them cheaper from Crosman, and be sure you are getting the best CS around.

I will check Crossman. I had trouble finding parts on their site. Will go back and click around.

Thanks Ken and Kirby!
I purchased a cup seal from Crosman. Replaced it based on the YouTube advice you shared. The gun shoots great. Pretty powerful and extremely accurate!

Glad to have helped. Now shoot 'til you drop!!

It is nice to see a Model 1 in that good of shape and even better that you get to shoot it. 8)
