Hello all,
There is a man that lives down the street from me that approached me a few days back about the doves in his yard. He said that he wanted to kill them to eat and he knew that I was into airguns. He wanted me to help him get into airguns.
Well, Dave (Dez) helped me out a few weeks back and to pass it on, I gave him a 1377 American Classic. My buddy had a 1399 stock laying around so he gave him that too. I just ordered a TKO for him, but we need a longer barrel. He is going to get the steel breech off of my Disco once I order a BNM breech. At that point he should have a fun little gun to shoot doves with.
The one catch is that he needs a longer barrel. He wants to pay for it, but I know he isn't rich by any means. In fact, I know that their family struggles quite a bit. So I'm trying to make the cost of the barrel cheaper than the 24" 1760-001 one that costs $24 shipped from Crosman.
So, after that long winded post, I was wondering if the 17.25" barrel off of the M4-177 is the same barrel as the 1377/.177 Disco utilizes? It is only $13 shipped.
Thanks!

I think they are turned down for the breech/barrel support so you would have to cut that portion off drill the port and sealing flat , then the O-ring sealing area and the chamber/leade...
it is not that hard but you have to have/make the tools to do it... I had to for my .25 barrel.

That's more than we can do, so I'll probably just pitch in $10 for him.
Thanks for the info Kirby!
