Hey guys. I called one of the very few dive shops around here about getting a used SCUBA tank for my buddy's Disco he wants for Christmas. The shop owner (who I've met before due to freediving) said he has a 50 CF tank that is 10 years old, has a current hydro that is good until May of 2016, and is a K-valve for $110. Is this a reasonable price? My buddy will have to get the Benjamin K-valve yoke too.
Thanks

Well, we have called almost every shop within 100 miles now. The $110 is the best we could find so we are going to go pick it up tomorrow.

Seems like paying $167 from Amazon for a new 80cf tank would make more sense, but to each his/her own.

Sy, you make a lot of sense. My bud is on a really tight budget, so he's trying to do bottom dollar for everything. There is a dive shop twenty miles north of us that has new 80cf tanks for $155. Maybe I can convince him that is a better choice.
