I just received a lightly used HW95 in .22 (thanks, Sam) with a recently installed Vortek kit done by John in PA. The gun hasn't settled into the tune yet and is not grouping consistently.
While it is too soon after the tune to find this gun's favorite pellet, any wisdom from current HW95 owners non where to start is greatly appreciated!
Thanks, Greg

H&N FTT 5.53 head, JSB 15.89 grain, or AA 16 grain pellets are a good place to start.

The pellets Booger refers to are the ones I'd start with. The JSB and AA (which are made by JSB, and are similar but not the same) are available in two head sizes -- 5.51 and 5.52. The FTT come in three head sizes -- 5.53, 5.54, and 5.55. HW's sometimes prefer the larger H&N FTT pellets; mine was partial to 5.54.

My 98 is 177 and shoots JSB 7.87, 8.4 and FTT in 4.51 and .52 better than anything else!!
Very rare you won't get good results with the pellets mentioned.
