Title: LGV Challenger .177 or .22?
Post by: airkrazy on September 23, 2014, 12:33:02 AM
I'm looking at one of these in possibly .22. For those who have them and have shot them, what would you recommend? Occasional target and small pest.

Being the average LGV makes 12-13 ft lbs power ... the .177 cal IMO ;)

I have it in .177 no regrets here.  I've only stretched it out to 30 yds. It is accurate

I have the .177 and it was doing 940fps with an 8.4gr pellet when it left AOA. Great rifles in my opinion.

How does accuracy compare to TX200, HW97K, or the R98? I am just getting in to FT with springers. :)

The .22 LGV's imported to Canada are 12 foot pound guns, the .177's are considerably more.  Perhaps it is the same all across North America.
