I couldn't pass up the deal from AoA for the LGV challenger. UPS says its in the truck for delivery and I'm at work, Ugh. I can't wait to sling some lead later after work. It's going to be a long day. At least I'm not home staring out the front window. My wife says I act like a little boy when a new airguns on the way. Yep

Its Christmas morning and you are still on the road to Gramma's house. LOL.

Hope you don't get the dreaded tracking bug!!!
Good luck!

I succumbed to the tracking bug. My wife texted a photo of the box sitting on the dining room table, and I'm still at work. I'm glad I'm not an air traffic controller cause my mind isn't on the job so much right now. :D

Hang in there Tom!!
Only a couple hours to go.......they will be the toughest!!!
-
That was just wrong for her to send a pic of the box.
-
I agree Larry......but prob would've done the same thing!!!
;D

You are going to love it!!!!!!! :D

Well at least she did not send a pic of her shooting the gun. ;D

I have been looking at the LGV. They look interesting. Im wanting a open sight gun but not sure I like the High Viz sights. Looks like it would make a good scoped gun. What are you intending to do with it?
-
Ok where to start....... I love this gun! I'm gonna echo what others have said about the fit and finish, it's veeery nice. This is my first springer and I didn't know what to expect. It is heavy but I like that for some reason. Thanks to shooting tutorials on this great forum about artillery hold and follow through , ect. my eleven year old son and I had it kinda figured out after 30 shots or so. Thats when the gun sort of settled down and we were seeing some groups.
The last group of the day for my son son was 5 shots well covered by a dime, this boy has sniper blood in him or something (proud Dad here can you tell?). My last had a flyer of course but 4 shots under a dime. These were shot at 30 yards by the way. Pictures are coming cause it never happened without them.
My shoulder is a little sore I was cocking for both of us. Small price to pay for some shooting time with my son. It doesn't get much better :D

I would've came down with some weird illness and went home.*L*

.177 or .22? Did you get the tuning trigger also?
-
;D I truly hate when I order anything on line for exactly that reason. Just ordered a threaded adapter from the UK for my Daystate Regal XL to mount a better LDC. Now the wait begins.

This gun is in .177. I know many go with the .22 model, but I wanted to go back to my airgun roots which is .177. It's also cheaper to shoot. So my wife sends a picture of the box like I said. Sooooo..... I ask her to open it and send a picture of the gun duh! She said nope your acting like a little boy. Geeesh Anyhow I got the gun for target shooting and plinking, and a starling or two if they ever sit still long enough. I don't know about where you all are, but the starlings in my yard have esp or something. Just think about getting an airgun and they fly away. I'd shoot em through the open window but the wifey says no way! something about you'll shoot one of the dogs or something. ;D
